Snap photos near the golden gates of the Royal Palace and take a short walk through the Mellah, the old Jewish district.
Then, step into the heart of the bustling old city. Wander through its maze-like alleyways, pass historic Koranic schools, visit museums, and marvel at the colorful Chouara Tanneries. Enjoy the lively souks before being escorted to your Riad or hotel by late afternoon.

After breakfast and a shower, we explore the region, starting with the ancient underground irrigation system known as khettaras. Visit the village of Khamlia, home to descendants of sub-Saharan slaves who will perform soulful Gnawa music.
We’ll drive across desert landscapes, stop to share tea with a nomadic family in their tent, and learn about their way of life. After lunch, prepare for a sunset camel trek through the golden dunes, arriving at a luxury desert camp where you’ll enjoy dinner and spend the night under the stars.
