DAY 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait Benhaddou – Dades Valley
Start your desert adventure after breakfast in your Marrakech accommodation. Your English-speaking driver/guide will pick you up at 7:30 AM to begin the scenic drive across the High Atlas Mountains, where snow-covered peaks (in winter) offer unforgettable panoramic views. Continue along the winding roads until you reach the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass at 2,260 meters.
Later, explore the legendary Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its clay-built Kasbahs, once a key stop on ancient caravan routes between the Sahara and Marrakech. After lunch, travel through Ouarzazate—often called the "Hollywood of Africa"—with an optional visit to the Atlas Film Studios. Spend the night at a charming hotel in the Dades Valley.
